Lauren is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), where she learned that true wellness extends far beyond nutrition. After experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional effects of chronic stress firsthand, she became passionate about helping moms with ADHD who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in survival mode create more calm, clarity, and connection in their lives and families. Drawing from her own experience as a neurodivergent woman, Lauren empowers others with practical tools for emotional regulation, executive functioning, and sustainable wellness. Lauren lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband and two daughters.
For many years, I suffered from chronic stress from ongoing relational conflict and suppression of my own needs that led to nervous system dysregulation and a loss of personal empowerment. Living in a constant state of stress elevated my cortisol levels, contributing to leaky gut, inflammation, joint pain, and brain fog, which were further intensified by my ADHD.
I sought external validation and reassurance from others, but this began to damage my relationships. Despite seeking help from several health professionals, I still felt stuck and unable to find a clear path forward. This constant anxiety and emotional reactivity forced me to confront the pattern I was in.
I learned that ADHD influences how a person manages emotions, handles stress, regulates sleep, maintains relationships, and navigates everyday life. Relationships can suffer when forgotten messages, missed appointments, or emotional overwhelm are misunderstood as not caring. ADHD isn't simply a focus disorder. It's a self-regulation disorder. For many people, it explains years of wondering why everyday tasks seemed harder, why stress felt heavier, or why they could succeed in some areas while struggling deeply in others. I came to understand that chronic stress and inflammation were deeply connected to my physical symptoms, and that true healing required addressing my nervous system, stress levels, diet, and overall self-awareness together.
I now wake up feeling more energized, I sleep better, feel calmer and more focused. I have reclaimed my voice and feel more empowered, which allows me to communicate more clearly and effectively. I am enjoying stronger family relationships, and I have learned to accept and work with my neurodivergent brain instead of fighting against it. I have rebuilt a sense of self-trust and self-love.
